How to change the encoding of a message?

Usually, such messages are marked with the information related to character set used in the message but sometimes you may also get messages without this information. In such cases Outlook uses the default encoding specified for your computer. This default setting appears in the International Options dialog box.

This will help Outlook to display the correct characters. To change encoding of a message, follow below mentioned procedure:

- On the View menu, point to Encoding, and then click the character set (alphabet) you want to use.
- Click Yes.
